Refurbishment by Lokold

Food retailers can make substantial cost and energy savings by calling on the services of Lokold, WR Refrigeration’s environmentally-friendly specialist operation, for the recycling and refurbishment of chilled and frozen food display cases.

Lokold operates from key strategic locations based in Ipswich, Weston-Super-Mare and East Kilbride to provide services on a national basis.

The services include all electro/mechanical repairs and total refurbishment for both integral units and remote piped cases.

Providing the framework and insulation of the display case has not broken down, the cabinets can easily be transformed improving its lifespan and refrigeration performance.

Processes include the stripping of the carcase, re-wiring, replacing all interior or exterior panels with new or refurbished, and final testing of refrigeration systems to meet our customer specifications.

The extent of the refurbishment can be tailored to suit the customer requirements and can be achieved either on or off site and we stock a large number of manufactured and re-manufactured spare parts.

In addition, we are able to offer temporary refrigerated integral unit display cabinets to assist in the phasing of installations of new or refurbished cabinets on site.
